Quranic verses explaining the importance of obedience to prophet Muhammad[pbuh]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4:80 He who obeys the Apostle obeys Allah: but if any turn away We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds).

Narrated Abu Hurairah : Allâh’s Messenger said, "All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse." They said, "O Allâh’s Messenger! Who will
refuse?" He said, "Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it)." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.9,
Hadîth No.384).

Believing in the whole book is compulsory-Quran
----------------------------------------------------
3:7 He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: in it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book:
others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical seeking discord and searching for its
hidden meanings but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole
of it is from our Lord"; and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

And the details of 5 pillars of Islam and various practices are present in hadith.

Instructing form quran and rehearsing .
------------------------------------------
Prophet Muhammad was given the responsibility to explain the Quranic verses in detail, along with recitation, interpretation ,explanation.

2:129 "Our Lord! send amongst them an Apostle of their own who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom and
sanctify them; for Thou art the Exalted in Might the Wise."

2:148 To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) toward all that is good. Wheresoever ye are Allah will bring you
together. For Allah hath power over all things.

2:151 A similar (favor have ye already received) in that We have sent among you an Apostle of your own rehearsing to you Our signs and sanctifying you
and instructing you in Scripture and wisdom and in new Knowledge.

2:231 When ye divorce women and they fulfil the term of their (`Iddat) either take them back on equitable terms or set them free on equitable
terms; but do not take them back to injure them or to take undue advantage; if anyone does that He wrongs his own soul. Do not treat Allah's Signs as a
jest but solemnly rehearse Allah's favors on you and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom for your instruction. And fear Allah and
know that Allah is well acquainted with all things.

Following prophet Muhammad(salle ala hu alaihi wa sallam) is a must.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
He followed Quran and practically applied it,this practical application ofQuran and his pattern of conduct is "Quran and Sunnah"

3:31 Say: "If ye do love Allah follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful."

3:32 Say: "Obey Allah and His Apostle"; but if they turn back Allah loveth not those who reject Faith.

3:164 Allah did confer a great favor on the believers when He sent among them an Apostle from among themselves rehearsing unto them the Signs of
Allah sanctifying them and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom while before that they had been in manifest error.

4:13 Those are limits set by Allah: those who obey Allah and His Apostle will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath to abide therein
(for ever) and that will be the Supreme achievement.

4:13 Those are limits set by Allah: those who obey Allah and His Apostle will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath to abide therein
(for ever) and that will be the Supreme achievement.
14 But those who disobey Allah and His Apostle and transgress His limitswill be admitted to a fire to abide therein: and they shall have a
humiliating punishment.

4:42 On that day those who reject faith and disobey the Apostle will wish that the earth were made one with them: but never will they hide a single
fact from Allah!

4:59 O ye who believe! obey Allah and obey the Apostle and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves refer
it to Allah and His Apostle if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: that is best and most suitable for final determination.

4:61 When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah hath revealed and to the Apostle": thou seest the Hypocrites avert their faces from thee in disgust.

4:64 We sent not an Apostle but to be obeyed in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only when they were unjust to themselves come unto thee
and asked Allah's forgiveness and the Apostle had asked forgiveness for them they would have found Allah indeed Oft-Returning most Merciful.

4:65 But no by thy Lord they can have no (real) Faith until they make thee judge in all disputes between them and find in their souls no resistance
against thy decisions but accept them with the fullest conviction.

4:69 All who obey Allah and the Apostle are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah of the Prophets (who teach) the sincere (lovers of
truth) the witnesses (who testify) and the righteous (who do good): ah! what a beautiful fellowship!

4:80 He who obeys the Apostle obeys Allah: but if any turn away We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds).

4:113 But for the Grace of Allah to thee and His Mercy a party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only
lead their own souls astray and to thee they can do no harm in the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom and taught thee what
thou knewest not (before); and great is the grace of Allah unto thee.

4;114 In most of their secret talks there is no good: but if one exhorts to a deed of charity or justice or conciliation between men (secrecy is
permissible): to him who does this seeking the good pleasure of Allah We shall soon give a reward of the highest (value).

4:115 If anyone contends with the Apostle even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him and follows a path other than that becoming to men
of faith We shall leave him in the path he has chosen and land him in Hell--what an evil refuge!

5:92 Obey Allah and obey the Apostle and beware (of evil): if ye do turn back know ye that it is Our Apostle's duty to proclaim (the Message) in the
clearest manner.

7:157 "Those who follow the apostle the unlettered prophet whom they find mentioned in their own (Scriptures); in the law and the Gospel; for he
commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil: he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and
impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him honor him help him and
follow the light which is sent down with him it is they who will prosper."

7:158 Say: "O men! I am sent unto you all as the apostle of Allah to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He:
it is He that giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His apostle the unlettered Prophet who believed in Allah and His words: follow
him that (so) ye may be guided."

8:12 Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of
the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."
13 This because they contended against Allah and His apostle: if any contend against Allah and His apostle Allah is strict in punishment.

Give response to Allah and his Apostle
-----------------------------------------
Give positive response to Quran and Sunnah!Because both together constitute Faith.

8:20 O ye who believe! obey Allah and his apostle and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).

8:21 Nor be like those who say "we hear" but listen not:

8:24 O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His apostle when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in
between a man and his heart and that it is He to whom Ye shall (all) be gathered.

9:71 The believers men and women are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers practice
regular charity and obey Allah and His apostle. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power Wise.

16:44 (We sent them) with Clear Signs and Books of dark prophecies; and We have sent down unto thee (also) the Message; that thou mayest explain
clearly to men what is sent for them and that they may give thought.

24:48 When they are summoned to Allah and His Apostle in order that He may judge between them behold some of them decline (to come).
49 But if the right is on their side they come to him with all submission.
50 Is it that there is a disease in their hearts? Or do they doubt or are they in fear that Allah and His Apostle will deal unjustly with them? Nay it
is they themselves who do wrong.
51 The answer of the Believers when summoned to Allah and His Apostle inorder that He may judge between them is no other than this: they say "We
hear and we obey": it is such as these that will attain felicity.

24:54 Say: "Obey Allah and obey the Apostle: but if ye turn away he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye
obey him ye shall be on right guidance. The Apostle's duty is only to preach the clear (Message)."

24:56 So establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity: and obey the Apostle; that ye may receive mercy.

24:62 Only those are Believers who believe in Allah and His Apostle: when they are with him on a matter requiring collective action they do not depart
until they have asked for his leave: those who ask for thy leave are those who believe in Allah and His Apostle; so when they ask for thy leave for
some business of theirs give leave to those of them whom thou wilt and ask Allah for their forgiveness: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.
63 Deem not the summons of the Apostle among yourselves like the summons of one of you to another: Allah doth know those of you who slip away under
shelter of some excuse: then let those beware who withstand the Apostle's order lest some trial befall them or a grievous Penalty be inflicted on
them.

27:79 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the Path of) manifest Truth.

27:93 And say, "Praise be to Allah, He will soon show you His Signs so that ye shall know them.

33:21 Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern of (conduct) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day and who
engages much in the praise of Allah.

33:31 But any of you that is devout in the service of Allah and His Apostle and works righteousness to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have
prepared for her a generous Sustenance.

33:34 And recite what is rehearsed to you in your homes of the Signs of Allah and His wisdom: for Allah understands the finest mysteries and is
well-acquainted (with them).

33:36 It is not fitting for a Believer man or woman when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Apostle to have any option about their decision: if
anyone disobeys Allah and His Apostle he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.

33:66 The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire they will say: "Woe to us! would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the
Apostle!"

33:71 That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: he that obeys Allah and His Apostle has already attained the highest
Achievement.

36:3 Thou art indeed one of the apostles.
4 On a Straight Way.

42:3 Thus doth (He) send Inspiration to thee as (He did) to those before thee Allah Exalted in Power full of Wisdom.
4 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: and He is Most High Most Great.

43:33 And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life We would provide for everyone that blasphemes against (Allah) Most Gracious
silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up.

48:10 Verily those who plight their fealty to thee do no less than plight their fealty to Allah: the Hand of Allah is over their hands: Then anyone
who violates His oath does so to the harm of his own soul and anyone who fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah Allah will soon grant him a great
Reward.

48:17 No blame is there on the blind nor is there blame on the lame nor on one ill (if he joins not the war): but he that obeys Allah and His Apostle
(Allah) will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and he who turns back (Allah) will punish him with a grievous Penalty.

49:1 O ye who believe! put not yourselves forward before Allah and His Apostle: But fear Allah: for Allah is He who hears and knows all things.
2 O ye who believe! raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet nor speak aloud to him in talk as ye may speak aloud to one another lest your
deeds become vain and ye perceive not.

58:5 Those who resist Allah and His Apostle will be humbled to dust as were those before them: for We have already sent down clear Signs. And the
Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty .
58:9 O ye who believe! when ye hold secret counsel do it not for iniquity and hostility and disobedience to the Prophet; but do it for righteousness
and self-restraint; and fear Allah to whom ye shall be brought back.

59:7 What Allah has bestowed on His Apostle (and taken away) from the people of the townships belongs to Allah to His Apostle and to kindred and orphans
the needy and the wayfarer; in order that it may not (Merely) make a circuit between the wealth among you. So take what the Apostle assigns to you and
deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment.

62:2 It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered an apostle from among themselves to rehearse to them His Signs to sanctify them and to instruct
them in Scripture and Wisdom although they had been before in manifest error

64:12 So obey Allah and obey His Apostle; but if ye turn back the duty of Our Apostle is but to proclaim (the Message) clearly and openly.

72:23 "Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey and His Apostle for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein
forever."

conclusion
-----------
Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him followed Quran and sunnah(taught by Allah through gabriel alai salaam)aal the five pillars of faith are incomplete
without the involvement of sunnah.

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 6.450 Narrated byMusa bin Abi Aisha
That he asked Said bin Jubair regarding (the statement of Allah): "Move not your tongue concerning (the Qur'an) to make haste therewith." He said, "Ibn
'Abbas said that the Prophet used to move his lips when the Divine Inspiration was being revealed to him. So the Prophet was ordered not to
move his tongue, which he used to do, lest some words should escape his memory. 'It is for Us to collect it' means, 'We will collect it in your
chest;' and 'its recitation' means, 'We will make you recite it.' 'But when We recite it (i.e. when it is revealed to you), follow its recital; it is
for Us to explain it and make it clear,' (i.e. We will explain it through your tongue).

Allah knows best.
